I had some bulky 3 tier rack in my closet for my shoes & a mound of shoes growing in the closet. I was out of space, and went looking for a new solution. I bought 2 of these; it was very easy to put together, although I had to use a tool to hammer it together which dented the wood--while this didn't matter to me, it's worth noting. They stacked very easily, and depth-wise it freed up some space in my closet from what I had in there. I ended up not having enough room (still), so I just bought a 3rd to go in there.

Pros: Cheap, easy to put together, stores a lot of shoes
Cons: It is a little wobbly, if my kids pull on the front even slightly it will topple over, I may end up bolting it to the wall. Also, the metal bars are slippery/not angled enough, so many of my non-rubber non-heel shoes have no traction and slide off.

All that being said, I would still recommend it, it's space saving and does the job for the most part, nothing that can't be overlooked!

I'd been looking online for a shoe rack that was both expandable and stackable so I could move it around the house or move it to a new house and have it still be functional. Honestly, there aren't many out there that are both expandable AND stackable, but this one seemed like it could get the job done.

I took a shot and ordered two of these so I could stack them and wasn't disappointed. I can stack the two on top of each other and still expand them to fit any space around the house. I haven't had any problems with shoes slipping off and it helps a lot in cleaning up what was previously a huge pile of shoes around the door.

If I was rating it on quality alone, I'd probably give it 3 stars since it's not the most sturdy thing in the world. But based on overall value I give it 5 stars because of it's low price, functionality, and versatility. If I need more, I'll be looking for this product again.

Also, I took off the wood frames and spray painted them black since I prefer the black and chrome look :)

Fit Any Space Miraculously

My last shoe rack (Whitmor White Resin 30 pair) repeatedly fell apart because the cheap plastic body bend all over the place over time and died one final death. I found this other Whitmor shoe rack which is STACKABLE and EXPANDABLE to any length that fits your specific space and need. It's been two weeks, so far it seems sturdy enough (don't have kids or pets in the household), even stands still on my fluffy carpet floor. I dont have it fully expanded yet - only 4 pairs on each level. I like how when I have more shoes, I can just expand the thing a little more to fit an extra pair on each level, which means it would last longer before I have to add on an extra rack than as I use a rack that's not expandable. It's not as cheap as my older one, but definitely worth it. Excellent value!

Note: I am using two to stack them on top of each other, holding 20 pairs now, size 6.5-7. Taller high heels need to go on the top level or like I do, take over two levels, because the bars are really close to each other but I like how compact it is.

Debido a que no me gusta tener los zapatos amontonados y calzo del 9, caben 5 pares de zapatos por estante, lo que da un total de 15 pares.

El diseño es muy bonito. Todo excelente.

Nota: no lo veo realmente funcional para botas que llegan al tobillo ya que no caben perfectamente y las tienes que doblar un poco.
