The unit itself straps to any hard or cushioned chair. The tray and tray insert easily slide onto the chair and click into place and both pieces are dishwasher safe. You will need a phillips screwdriver for a simple assembly of attaching the seat to the base with 4 screws. Overall this seat is sturdy, lightweight, and convenient.

We gave it away. 5 years later, a second grandchild came along! This space saver is great. It was a breeze to assemble (and I hate to assemble anything). Our grandchild now can sit at the table with the rest of us, a big plus. I believe it is sturdy enough for the time we will use it. We already have a booster from the first grandchild for the next step. I love the tray insert that makes cleaning much easier.

I really am happy with this high chair. Fits my 6 month old son perfectly. I like the well thought out aspects of the chair like the reclining function, the removable tray liner for easy clean up and nice looking. I did not want a highchair with its own legs since we have a large dinningroom table and didn’t want to have an extra chair at the table and this allows me to use my own chair to strap the highchair to. I also like that it will be more easy to being with me on trips for baby to have his highchair with us when we visit family if I need it. Overall a great purchase, looks good and affordable. 😊

I originally purchased the Ikea highchair thinking I'd be all set while I was still pregnant. Realized that one does not have shoulder straps, does not come up for head support and cannot tilt. The seat tilting is easy to use, smooth enough to do with the baby in the chair even. Slides right up to our table and the tray goes over our table which is nice so it doesn't stick out too far. It's compact enough we can easily take it off of the chair to travel.

I love this chair! It doesn’t take up much room and I don’t trip over legs, like with most high chairs, because it sets on top of our regular kitchen chairs. I can manipulate the tray with one hand or two and the pattern on the seat cover is adorable and easy to clean. I like the portability; I can take it to our baby’s physical therapy sessions.
The chair reclines, which I don’t understand, because why would you have your child sleep at the table? And you wouldn’t want a child reclining while eating for risk of choking. The double tray was a neat feature until I washed the white topper in the dishwasher (top shelf). It warped and now our baby picks it up and throws it, so we can’t use that part anymore. It was nice while it lasted, but I wouldn’t recommend putting it in the dishwasher.
I recommend this seat, just don’t put the tray topper in the dishwasher.

We bought this as a first chair for our now 5 month old son and it works great for him! It was easy to put together (took about 4 minutes and needed a screw driver so no big deal!). The straps are really easy to adjust and seem to be comfortable for our baby. We also love the feature where the seat leans back a little bit which is great when the babies are younger. It’s very sturdy but also light-weight and our som loves sitting in it!

Très comfortable! Mon bébé de 11 mois à cesser de se mettre debout sur sa chaise donc beaucoup plus sécuritaire que les chaises avec ceinture à la taille. C’est un peu plus gros que je croyais et nécessite une base de chaise assez longue et carré. Un peu haut aussi pour table standard ( la chaise n’entre plus sous la table ) mais bébé a l’impression d’être assis à table avec nous et non à l’écart dans une chaise haute trop grosse ! Les plateau se nettoie très bien et le coussin aussi ! Attention de ne pas laisser les pieds de bébé près de la table … le mien pousse la table avec ses pieds et manque de faire basculer la chaise vers l’arrière. Donc évidement bien surveiller bébé !
