    The vinyl is very soft but durable looking, the colors are pretty bright (the blue and purple are a little bit of a dark shade), and my 21 month old loves them. He recently went to a speech evaluation and the therapist had blocks just like this set. When it was time to put the blocks up he was very upset, more so than he's been about any other toy he's played with so far. The first thing I did when I got home was look this up on Amazon. These were the blocks that were exactly like the ones the therapist had, so these were the ones I ordered. At $60, they are ridiculously expensive. He doesn't own a ridiculous amount of toys, so I justified the purchase because we will be able to use these blocks as a part of his at home speech therapy. I wish they had letters or something on the side, but they are completely plain. That is really my only complaint about this product. My son does love to play with these and I will say, as soon as I pulled them out of the box he recognized them immediately and became very excited.

    Overall, a great toy for babies and kids. They're large so he'll be able to play with these for a while yet, and they're soft so I know when my next kid comes in October I will be able to keep these around from the start without worries of injury to either child.

    The item arrived on time but didn't fit our understanding of the description. It was very small than expected. The picture is misleading. But the product is good.
