I’m impressed. So many thoughtful design and packaging details tell you they really thought about this product. The instructions are almost Lego clear. The packing stryofoam is plastic-wrapped so you don’t get crumbs everywhere. It's designed so that the metal hardware all ends up hidden inside and you only see lovely wood. They include a very nice Allen rachet wrench for easier tightening and easier reaching into the corners. The hardware is in a shell-pack so you can see that it’s all there—but they still include extras in case you lose some. There’s sturdy padding glued down where metal would otherwise squeak against metal. The wood is cut so that weight is supported by the wood and joinery not the hardware. And the big screws all come with tensioners, something you rarely see on flatpack furniture. I hope Zinus starts making other furniture this good.

This frame is actually pretty nice! It took me about 1.5 hours to put together - the directions were easy to follow and came with this little ratchet tool. However the tool would not grip until the threaded took a good hold, but it worked.
I did have a moment of panic after putting it together because it seemed like it was too small for the bed! It actually fit perfect!
You don't need to have a box spring with frame, but I already had them and use it with the frame. It gives it a nice height, if you like that look.
I bought another one for my daughter and thinking about getting another one for myself.
Good quality and a reasonable price to pay.

Still an awesome bedframe. Still the same solid, uncreakable, unbreakable bed that came in the annoyingly secure box in July 2022. I will ABSOLUTELY purchase another when I buy a home. Affordable, stylish, sturdy, reliable. Money is tight these days and this purchase won't make you feel like an idiot for trusting that something so affordable can actually be a decent item for ownership.

I'm a researcher---and I don't like spending money on stuff that is misrepresented, and I'll sure as heck send it back. I travel around a lot because of education and work--so my "bed frame" was a cheap wallyworld metal frame that a nice mattress sat upon. Looked terrible, but there it is.

This bed was extraordinarily affordable, which gave me pause. It came in a huge, long cardboard container---and was packed so carefully I was annoyed at how much wrapping I had to undo. So it came in pristine condition.

I laid out all of the pieces, which are marked clearly with numbers and letters, all of the hardware is in a packet that has corresponding numbers and letters. EASY PEASY. The pieces all fit together without any further "modification" and I had it together within an hour by myself. All tools included.

The finish is very nice. I got the Rustic Pine---and it is NICE. Not too dark, not blonde...just a golden, creamy color much like honey oak but a little more ash. My decor is mission---and this is why I chose this bed. It fits perfectly.

I am 5'6" and weigh 145lbs. I have not had a squeak, creak, or wobble. Not one. I have a 110 lb dog that jumps up, so a second "person" is also on the bed. No movement. No cracking or breaking or nonsense like these others are saying.

***first off, please be specific about your weight and activities when you claim the bed "broke and cracked". I can guarantee---you're putting >500lbs onto this bed and then expecting it to act like a steel frame while you do tandem acrobatics. It's nonsensical from what I see in this frame---especially if you're of a healthy weight. If you want to put >500lbs or even close to that on a frame....BUY A STEEL FRAME.

There is a nice 8 inch clearance underneath where I have stored several suitcases and some other items. The height of the bed is PERFECT for me--I can imagine it may seem a little low for someone over 6', but otherwise, it's just a nice height.

I've had the bed for a month now---and I stand by my initial impression---STURDY (when you're not putting a 2 ton wrecking ball to it) and very pretty. Easy construction and very clear instructions on how to do that.

For those that are gonna sit there and measure the distance between slats....seriously. You need to focus that energy on solving world hunger. Really. Seriously. Nobody actually cares.

I would buy this again for an additional room if/when I have one. Very nice for the money.

Omg! I cannot say enough how easy the assembly was.
Fantastically engineered!! Dowels and Velcro to hold slat sets in place….
One addition to directions I would say keep slat sets rolled up with dowel hole slat on bottom….place that slat first and secure dowels in hole
then roll out each slat keeping Velcro smooth and flat between
I dragged the box upstairs and assembled this bed myself(73yr old gramma) in an hour
Each direction was so clear and easy…each connection was precise and sturdy….came with cool little ratchet too!

I am so surprised how beautiful this bed looks in person. I mean, it looks great in the pictures but they don't do it justice. The stain is a beautiful rich brown mahogany and each piece feels very sturdy as it should. I purchased two of these for two different rooms and had no issues with either one. The packaging is above and beyond.... double-boxed and the styrofoam is enclosed in plastic wrap so it doesn't fall apart all over the place. One of the outer boxes was damaged but there was no damage to the actual product. It took myself plus one son to assemble the beds. I could've assembled on my own but it's nice to have the help. Took about 30 mins each bed. The box itself is extremely heavy and it took 2 of us to haul them upstairs. If I'd have been alone, I would've taken each piece up one at a time. The instructions are very simple and easy to understand. The screws and washers are well-labeled and come with extra parts. It even comes with a ratchet allen wrench which is really cool. All the pieces are labeled with stickers and you just match the stickers and screw in the screws. There is nice attention to details with the velcro system and the center beam has felt on top to reduce noise. The beds feel very sturdy and look amazing. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and checked lots of other websites... Pottery Barn, Haverty's, Rooms to Go, etc... looking for a great bed at a great price. The only thing I might add are extra slats. For this, I'll head to Home Depot and have some wood cut to size to lay in between the slats that came with the bed. That is just because I want the mattress to last as long as possible and I believe the slats are supposed to be closer together. You could also forgo the slats and use a piece of plywood or very short bunkie board for your foundation. Overall, I'm extremely pleased and would highly recommend this.

Not only is it easy to build, but it's so well-organized that it's impossible to mess up! It's so sturdy, and looks great! Really pleasantly surprised by it. It's light years better than any Ikea bedframe you can get. There are little attention to detail points on it that are so nice as well. The velcro to hold down the slats perfectly, the sticky-pads to keep the mattress in place. All really nice.
