I hope to cover a lot of ground that I hope will be useful here, so please bear with me.My king sized pillows arrived on a Friday afternoon and after unpackaging them and tossing them in the dryer for 15 minutes with a dryer sheet, I noticed that while one of my pillows was perfect, the other had a small tear/abrasion on one end, with some blue markings on the other. (Photos included) It was also quite a bit heavier than the other. I contacted the customer service email right away and Sunday evening I heard back saying their customer support email had been changed and I needed to contact enerplex instead with the enclosed address. That same day I received an email with a very sincere apology saying they were going to take care of me and to just send my address for verification purposes. In my original email I had offered to mail the pillow back if they gave me instructions. By Tuesday afternoon I had not 1, but another set of king sized pillows on my front porch. I was so impressed with how they expedited this process in such a no-nonsense way, without any hassle. This is how you get repeat business.A couple of issues and hints I’d like to address from reading reviews when I was shopping. It may help make your decision easier.Off-gassing/the smell so many people complain about. Yes it initially does smell. But this is par for the course when you go the route of memory foam. When my husband and I moved to a Tempur-Pedic bed and then bought each of my boys cheaper memory foam mattresses, we had to go through this process. This has absolutely nothing to do with being ‘made in China’. That’s just crazy talk. Putting it in the dryer with a dryer sheet can help, but only time will get it all out. A couple of options if you are extremely sensitive. Let them air out in another room or the garage for a couple of weeks is one possibility. What I did was I use a Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Sheet Spray that I misted on it daily, but any brand would work.I also use a zippered satin pillowcase that I purchased on Amazon because it’s good for hair breakage/shedding and your skin too. I keep the zipper side open to the same side as the zipper side of the pillow itself. If I want to adjust the foam firmness which I love that feature (and it may take you a good week fo determine what you like), you can open it up and do it. As you can see from the other photo, I have kept all my extra foam in a zippered bag. I have a lot of extra foam with 4 pillows. I think that helps with the off gassing maybe.Another hint: When you adjust the foam of your pillow, it will likely be lumpy. Throw it back in the dryer for 10/15 minutes and it will settle back to perfect again. You can throw it in with the pillowcase on even.We changed from standard size Tempur Pedic pillows which served us well for many years, but it was a pain in the butt to have to flip them over if you wanted to sleep on your back and then flip it if you wanted to sleep on your side. Plus both my husband and myself are living with SLAP tears and our needs have changed. We need something more adjustable.This was one of if not the best price point with the best reviews for the king size that I saw. And I can attest to putting their customer service to the test. You have nothing to lose.If the pillow starts losing shape, going flat or gets lumpy from sleeping, throw it in the dryer. Mine hasn’t, but I’ve read a couple reviews. I see how fluffed up mine comes out every time I throw it in.The other photo is of a king size pillow unrolled in my satin pillowcase with one that is still in its packaging. Inside that roll is the actual pillow plus a bag of extra foam.
