Warning!, This item is a refurbished that showed wear, not like new as described. The power selection switch sticker was half pulled off, the up tube has numerous dings. I'm very disappointed in this seller and the quality of the product.

I bought this because I hate sweeping! So this is only for hardwood floor and stairs. It does have a short battery life, so if we choice to also do the car and the floors it's not going to last, but that's fine. Just simply charge it! The wall mount is awesome it charges while mounted and turned off the charge when its fully charged.

This vacuum worked great for about a year after receiving. I had no issues with it being refurbished based on the price. However, after about a year of use, the battery began to degrade quickly, ultimately resulting in the vacuum not working. Because we had other vacuums, I put this one aside to revisit it later. When I did, I realized I received a V6 Model, when in fact I had ordered a V7 Model. With that said, I have ordered a replacement battery and hoping it makes the vacuum usable again.

Last Comment: Because this is a refurbished item listing, I can see how my results are not common, but possible for others. Make sure to check the model soon after receiving it.

My Dyson would not charge at all due to a defective battery. I contacted Dyson directly through e-mail and they sent me a new battery free of charge. Once I installed the new battery (which took less than a minute), the vacuum works great now. I love my Dyson!

This is so light and easy to use. I have chronic pain, fibromyalgia and get tired easily and can use it with no problem. We have a golden retriever who sheds constantly and as long as I empty the vacuum after every room, it handles the fur. Well worth the extra few minutes to stop and empty for the lightness and easiness of the vacuuming. I vacuum every day because of the dog fur and have been really happy with this dyson.

I was so excited to get this as a gold box deal. I had wanted the Dyson forever, but have a great shark and couldn't justify a second vacuum just to be cordless. When I received it I was disappointed to find that it was missing the mini motorhead for cleaning was not in the box. I reached out immediately to get this rectified. After much emailing the solution they offered was a $20 refund for a part that is $49 to buy from either Amazon or Dyson or I could return the vacuum (not exchange) and repurchase it at full price. Needless to say I am disappointed. The vacuum is awesome and I am loving using it, but not to have the functionality of being able to use it on the sofa or my car is not great. I will probably end up buying the part from Dyson and the vacuum will cost $30 more than expected. Not amazing customer service.
