Not a bad tray for little ice cubes.
I probably am one of the few left who doesn't have a fridge with a built in ice maker. Usually we have ice in our big freezer but I bought this to have some to put in my dog's water to keep it nice and cool on hot days. The tray is fine. The ice cubes are tiny, like a quarter of the size of a normal cube but that is what I personally wanted. I have no issues popping the ice out but it has to be done one cube at a time. This isn't a traditional twisty tray. This tray could be used as mold for candy and ice cream treats as well. Small ones. It was inexpensive and does the job. I haven't had any major issues but I also have not had the tray too long.If you want to mass extract ice cubes by twisting the tray, this will disappoint. If you don't mind popping out one at a time (It's fast!), this try may be useful for you. I went with 4 stars because the cubes really are very small and, although I don't mind popping each cube separately, I can see where that would be a hassle if I wanted to fill a pitcher or other vessel with the cubes. For my personal use though, this tray is fine.

It was summer and I purchased it for mom, she is not too fond of the ice cube trays. Because not only being unfamiliar with the push out function, she likely dislike the small size of ice produced. Smaller ice melt faster if not concentrated into a cup with one another. At that junction, I can relate to her disappointment.
Nonetheless, smaller cubes have advantages. They can help to cool too hot drinks or soups in any season and be used in mini-desktop air condition units. The reduced size with lesser liquid volumes freezes faster and do not always melt too quickly depending on the present environment. The trays are easy to use, clean and do not take up too much space, great for small refrigerators and certain, portable coolers, added artificial ice packs may be helpful for the lunch break. I like the soft rubble feel, these are nice things to have in the kitchen.

I have to say I was excited to purchase this ice tray. Can you imagine not having to do battle with an ice tray any longer. I love Gatorade freezing cold & I make my ice cubes out of whatever Im drinking so the ice can’t delute the drink. This “push out ice cube tray” works like a charm. I usually only need maybe 4 cubes but most trays force you to remove all the ice cubes. This push out tray works as it promises. I just put a finger under the cubes I want & they easily just pop right out leaving the other cubes inside tray. Works great. Ive had one issue. I was poping a few out & the tray just cracked off at the corner. I mean like a chunk of the tray just broke off leaving me with less ice cubes compartments.
So I would say thats an issue with the production & quality of this push out tray. Considering the price I can’t in good faith recommend this piticular brand. If you can get it made by a differant company for less money then I would say go for it. The concept is great only you need one thats made better.

Very good product, can be tedious to get the holes refilled without going over since the holes are so small. Make sure ya don’t leave excess water on the top of the tray or it will ice over and make the individual ice cubes hard to push out since they will be connected via the top of the tray. But great quality! And even when I have had to push hard to break connected cubes as mentioned it held up and did not snap like a previous one I have had. Love this item! Wish they had it in a larger cube size too!

Not sure if I got a 'stiff' silicone tray bottom, but rather doubt it. I use small ice cube trays for freezing ice for smoothies. I had some twist trays which work fine. Wish I'd just stuck with those. I can't fathom how there are so many good reviews on this product.

When I received the tray, I could easily push in on the silicone... while the tray was empty. Once it had frozen ice in it, I had to resort to running hot water over the ice (which I don't want to do because I can't then store the ice in a separate baggie - it freezes together), and finally, I used the heavy end of my butcher knife handle, hitting the silicone as hard as I could. I'm no weakling, I can get ice out of a tray. Just not this one. Also, you cannot stack these one atop the other.

No, I don't recommend this product.

This product is almost perfect. The only draw back is that it lacks capacity and it doesn't freeze much ice at once.

That said, everything else is perfect about it. The ice cubes are very easy to pop out from the tray which makes them easy to use and easy for kids to use.

My favorite thing about this tray though is how they help me for dieting. Sometimes, I just want to have something to crunch on when I'm hungry, and and the ice cubes are small enough for me to crunch on. Better than consuming calories!

So, if the size of this is a problem, just buy two!

Es una charola con gran capacidad . Los hielos son de un tamaño adecuado para la bebida, como una nuez pequeña. Los colores disponibles son muy atractivos y agregan vida a la nevera. Por la forma del molde los hielos resultan como las capsulas para café, muy agradables a la vista, el tacto y el gusto, con formas redondas y rectas. Se debe tener cuidado al llenar la charola para no exceder la capacidad de cada hueco, ya que así es súper simple el vaciado posterior. Si se pasa de la capacidad los hielos se unen entre sí y sacarlos del molde es difícil.
