It's comfortable, more comfy than the kind that don't go over the feet (which just don't work with a semi-relaxed posture).

The pressure is pretty good, but I find it slightly lacking.

There are air sacks for pressure on the top of the foot, lateral rotating rollers for the balls of the feet, a drum-wheel for the arches, and a pivoting nub for the heels. It's a decent arrangement, and I actually enjoy the feeling of the drum wheel much more than rotating nubs for my arches much more than the rotating nubs that other massagers may have in that spot.

As for the negatives...
Like I said, pressure is slightly lacking. If the air sacs pressed my feet slightly harder into the rollers, it'd be nearly bliss, if not bliss.

You've got to have your heels over the nubs to feel them, and there isn't a generously wide angle where it'll be effective and soothing.

The modes left much to be desired. There's effectively just one mode.
1. Normal massage system, but it stops and starts every few seconds.
2. Air sacks inflate, hold, release, and repeat.
3. Rollers roll and the sacks inflate/deflate until the timer finishes.

Additionally, when you turn it on, heat will automatically be on. I seldom want heat when I use it because the inside is already decently toasty.

What would really make this great, is to get rid of the two useless modes, and give some other features. Massage only, variable speed/pressure, whatever. I just won't be using two of the modes.

I've always struggled with aching feet since I was in middle school, so bad sometimes that I become nauseous. Now, 20 years later, I finally decided to do something about it now that I'm on my feet for 10+ hours in working in a wildlife hospital. I decided to purchase this one specifically because it had the video of the internal knobs moving, and I noticed that no other machine really had that in their advertisements So I decided to gamble, because there's also like a million here on Amazon, and I just wanted a solution. Let me tell you - THIS MACHINE IS AMAZING! It feels so good, it doesn't hurt, and it doesn't tickle. There's padding between the knobs and your foot, so it's not dagger like. It's literally so amazing! I use it for 1+ hours nightly now, and my husband fell asleep on the couch using it the first night we got it. Of course, my feet still hurt at work, but it sure is something I rush home now to do!

I was having worsening foot and toe pain. My feet were getting more stiff and sore daily. I have a morten's neuroma (inflamed nerve and surrounding tissue) between my 3rd and 4th toe and can no longer stand to wear high-heels, without feeling like I have broken bones in my feet afterwards.

ENTER THE HERO!! I have been using the Belmint foot massager non-stop since it arrived. (you can adjust the squeezing pressure, the shiatsu and the heat) It also comes with a remote control if you don't want to bend over and push the buttons on the top of the machine. I think it really has loosened up my stiff feet and relieved the soreness and even helped a bit with the morten's neuroma! I am highly recommending it! I wear women's size 7 shoes and it fits great. Also, to mix it up I will put my right foot in the left foot hole for a while to get different massagers on different places of my foot and vice versa. I even tried it on my arthritic hands... it wasn't quite as effective on your hands but if you are looking for anything to massage your hands with heat... I guess it was better than nothing. Definitely GREAT for your feet!

Get your favorite show on tv, your fluffy socks on, your Belmint foot massager on and some ice cream or hot tea and you will be in zen heaven!

I have poor circulation and I got this to help me with cold feet. It really does the trick! I put it under my desk to use while i'm working and I use it almost every day! It has a few different modes and speeds. The heat is sometimes too hot and you can turn it off but i like how if my feet sweat you can take out the inside cover and wash it. At first it felt like my feet were being electrocuted and I was afraid there was an issue with the machine until I looked in the manual and it said that's normal and its the initial sensation of circulation returning to deep tissues in the foot! WOAH and it went away after continued use as my feet were in better shape. It really does matter where you put your foot in the socket so before you complain about the heel pressure, try just shoving your feet all the way down into the chambers. I love this thing

Just received 3rd unit
Massager itself appears to be in good shape, but also appears to be a used unit (although maybe it was a previous unused return), **missing remote**. Did not return since previous unit (from 2nd purchase) remote works with this unit. Box appears to be re-taped and damaged, remote insert wrapper opened and remote missing in package. No remote included - checked to see if it just fell out. Once again I like the Belmint product, but would not advise due to the continued unreliability issues. Will not use Shiatsu rollers on this one since i don't favor them, but do enjoy the pressure so am experimenting. Will see if this one lasts. If not they have lost my patronage.

2nd unit received
Removable mesh lining didn't last long (1st time needed replacing within 6 months) zipper broke upon trying to remove.
- Replaceable parts hard to find and not clearly defined. Replacement liner did not fit well upon receipt, and once again had no longevity.
- Really liked product, so bought again, and once again mesh lining ended up with large holes in it again within a few months (@ 3-5 Months). Wore socks and they now have holes due to shiatsu rollers. Shiatsu rollers dug into feet and became really uncomfortable.
- Twice thought overall product was initially very good, but product did not last very long. 3 stars due to product is very likeable; with one major exception - lining does not last which diminished effect of product itself.

You don't have to choose' hurt mode'. It's just an option. A great option if you want a deeper massage.

It is capable of great intensity but has a great range of intensity from, #5 'work out my big kinks', to #1 'its just been a long day and my feet chilly'.

I have CMT and Raynauds and for me, this is such a great find. It doesn't fix things obviously but it works really well to massage, warm and ease toe and arch fatigue. It does a good job on heals as well and I find that if I lean forward and put some downward pressure on my feet, it does an even better job on arches and heals.

I'm a women's 7 1/2 shoe.

I'm very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with this purchase! I was searching foot massagers for a few days and was overwhelmed by the choices. After reading reviews on a few sites I settled on the Belmint brand.
I am 35 weeks pregnant so I am very happy to have a remote so I don’t have to bend over to push the buttons.
The pressure is really good, I only have to use the second setting - I have tried the third but it was just slightly more than I needed.
It makes some noise (air filling up/releasing) but not excessive. I can watch TV at the same time and can tune it out no problem.
