I have had a very thin yoga mat for years. It’s served me well overall, but not enough padding recently for my knees. I was really looking forward to the arrival of this mat, especially based on all the positive reviews. The positive - it is quite thick and comfortable in that regard. The negatives - it’s definitely not non-slip. My old mat has texture on both sides. This has minimal texture on just one side and completely smooth on the other. It’s also squeaky during certain yoga poses (which is embarrassing). From just one use, it does seem like it’s going to hold up very well. I would return it but already threw out the box. I wish I spent a little more for a better quality mat (better material). Overall, I’m disappointed and probably will not use again.
