I travel 50% to 70% of the time for work. This suitcase has stood the test of six plane rides so far and countless steps through the airport. I usually check this bag, but I have carried it on before. Other than being heavy, it has not been a problem to carry it on. It is functional and stylish. I also enjoy that it has an interior, plastic lined, zipped pocket for toiletries. Although I always put my toiletries in a plastic bag, the extra assurance that my body wash or shampoo won't end up on my clothes is appreciated. It is expandable, but i have never had to expand it. All in all, a great bag.

Really love this bag. Have taken it on airplane. It is a little big to put under the seat unless you are in an aisle seat. You can get it under the seat, but not a lot of room for your feet. So you probably would be more comfortable to put it in the overhead. Love the spinners. I have the 29" and the 25", too, and have found the spinners help when the bags are packed full and heavy. I can handle them pretty well. (I'm 71 years old.) Even up and down stairs. Have a couple handles so you can carry two different ways depending on the room you have to maneuver.

Rugged and attractive piece of carry-on luggage

This is a very nice piece of carry-on luggage. I checked American Airlines' allowed dimensions for carry-on bags, and the piece I selected was within these limits. On my outgoing flight I had no problem; on return with the same bag packed in the same way and on the same plane I was rudely told the bag had to be checked. Despite this, the bag is rugged and attractive with great wheels for very easy rolling. You can stuff alot into this bag; it has a zipper you can open to gain more space. But watch out for arbitrary and capricious gate agents who, armed with a little power, may reject this bag for carry-on if they perceive it (wrongly) as over-size.

After looking over several carry-on options, I thought that I would give this one a shot and I'm happy with the result. I purchased it for flight travel, and even took it to the airport when it arrived and plopped it in the carry-on sizer for United Airlines and it fit perfectly. Using the expanding zipper might make for a super tight fit, but for sure, it does fit in the sizer - wheels and all. It rolled smoothly all over, I love the 360 degree turning. The handle can feel a little weak when extended all the way (which since I'm pretty tall it is fully extended most of the time), but it functioned like a champ. The color options are not only fun, but functional when on a puddle jumper and I have to check it at the gate - much faster to claim.

I am not a heavy airline traveler, but do travel often and this has already become my go-to suitcase. I just ordered a second one for my soon-to-be-husband for our honeymoon to Hawaii as I know it will be perfect for those two layovers. I only rated it down one star because the handle could be stronger, but I still am happy about it - so a 4.5 would be more realistic. It would be a solid 5 otherwise.

My children are 7 and 5 and we can put enough clothes for a couple of days in this bag and not take up a lot of space in the trunk of our car. The bag is constructed well. The front pocket has a few dividers so that you can separate and organize some of your smaller items. As others have noted the bag has two different handles. Attention: This is not a bathroom bag. My wife thought this was a large bathroom bag, but it is not. There are NO dividers in the large opening.

I bought this to replace a similar case. I travel a lot for a living and need LOTS of storage to avoid checking my bag. If you're looking for a carry on that is the largest available and still accepted by all airlines then look no further than this case. I love it. I travel across all domestic and international airlines and have had no issue with it. It is infact a 21' spinner. If you buy a case that specifies 21', they WILL NOT meet the airlines regulation height and width and you may be forced to check it as they do not account for the wheels when measuring and listing the item on the website but...the airlines do. PROS: Accepted on all airlines I have travelled on both domestic, budget and international, beautiful classy bag, tons of space, great shape so you can get lots of stuff in here, handy side pockets, it is the largest bag you will find that will still be accepted on the airlines, CONS: This picture does NOT do this bag justice. It is a really beautiful deep rich and classy :D violet, this picture should be taken again Amazon, the bag is waaay nicer than this image indicates. In short, love this bag. However, if you're super masculine or just a man, it may not be the colour for you, but that just me. Enjoy!
