This thing is amazing. The broken english instructions and box are flimsy and give you the idea this is a cheap chinese product. It could be, but honestly how hard is it to make a durable plastic box with a heating element in the bottom? The heater gets hot enough that I actually lightly toasted bread on it once. If I left it longer I suppose it could have toasted all the way. The food comes out hot, but not so hot that you can't eat it. Imagine food right out of the oven and it's been sitting for a couple minutes, that's how hot it is. Almost to the point where you can't eat it because it's too hot but you still can. I let the food sit in it for longer than the recommended time and that's how hot it got.
The metal bowl that comes inside is extremely easy to clean. Nothing has stuck to it, everything just rolls off. I have put oatmeal and peanut butter in here and it's come off with just water.
The bowl is also really large. This is about the size of a kids lunchbox but a bit longer on one side and shorter on the other. But imagine if you filled your kid's metal lunchbox with macaroni and cheese, like totally filled it up. You would have a ton of food wouldn't you? That's how much it can hold so basically you have 2 or 3 full meals worth of space in here that you can heat up. In fact you could buy a few of these and use them as buffet serving stations at your next party.
The lid is difficult to put on, but on the other hand that is a good sign. I feel very confident it will not come off in transport. It has never given me a problem nor has it leaked. When the lid is on there it is super tight.
I'd get it even if I wasn't using it for work because imagine you needed to bring something you cooked to a friend's house and keep it warm in your car. It's big enough to hold a ton of food, it's basically a small casserole dish. And it wouldn't spill because of the strong lid.

Love this lunchbox!!
This is a great lunchbox!! After coming back to work from being on quarantine, we no longer have a microwave available to us & cold cuts & cheese are starting to get a little old. I wanted something hot for my lunch.I was skeptical so the 1st time out I tried something I thought would for sure test the limit. I had steamed broccoli & cauliflower in the little side box & then leftover pad Thai with honey walnut prawns on top. (I’m going to add that in my video you can see I made a little makeshift container with aluminum foil to keep my noodles from going all over)The shrimp & pad Thai were piping hot after heating for about an hour & the shrimp were perfect!! Not chewy or rubbery at all like they would’ve been if I would’ve reheated them in the microwave. I love this lunchbox!!

My husband often has lunch in fastfood restaurants, he has spent a lot money for lunch every month :(((. To save money, I prepare food for him when he goes working. I bought a plastic lunch box that can be used with microwive (picture 1), he has used it for 2 months, however, a problem is that he always has to line up and wait for a long time to heat his food up. He is very busy, he has 30 minutes for lunch so he sometimes skips his meals because he cannot wait for his turn to use microwive. This lunch box is a great idea. The lunch box is divided in two parts, you can put rice, noodle in a larger part and soup or salad in a smaller part. You just need to plug into electric, keep doing your work and get it back after 30 minutes. You can have warm food to enjoy.
I highly recommend this one for people that don't have microwive to use.

Having said that, it is good while it lasts.
I saw other reviews before I purchased it, and I though people were just careless with it; But not!
It will eventually break! I dare to say it won’t last more than 4 months! I don’t see other options in the market tho.
I’m trying to get a replacement now!
