This super strength Biofreeze is good stuff. Once sprayed on the affected area, it lasts a very long time. The regular roll-on of this product has 4% menthol. This formula has a whopping 10.5% menthol. Please be aware that if you’re sensitive to strong smells, the menthol in this super strength version is initially pungent. The strong smell dissipates after several minutes.The spray nozzle is tricky. Once you break the seal, it’s important to press down quickly and firmly to get a spray mist. If you don’t, it does have a tendency to squirt. You can spray it upside down, to treat hard to reach areas. In regards to the spray nozzle mechanism, I think the design could have been made more user friendly. Just be mindful of how to effectively use the spray nozzle and it works fine.I still give the product 5 stars, because when it come to pain relieve it does an awesome job.

My sister recommended this spray to me to try on my feet as I suffer from Neuropathy in both of them. She and my Brother-in law use it for their neuropathy. My Brother-In Law also uses it on both of his knees. I broke both of my ankles and have spent the last 18 months having surgeries on both and then lots of Physical Therapy. Lots of pain issues here... BioFreeze has really helped me with calming the neuropathy in both feet. It does not stop it, but it absolutely has helped me. I am also using it on my sore ankles and it has been a blessing. This product has a cooling effect instantly when applied to the skin.It has an odor but it is not unpleasant. Smells like a spray medicine... It immediately calms the hot, burning, prickly, electrical tingling sensations in both feet. My feet feel relief for about an hour and by that time I am not as focused on their pain from neuropathy. I use it about four times a day...just a quick spray over my toes, heels, and top of each foot. Takes 3 seconds...Works instantly. Now my hockey playing son is using it on his knees too! He is getting relief from BioFreeze as well. I am very happy with this product. Happy too that Amazon sells it in sets of three. I have one at bedside, one in bathroom, and one next to my recliner in T.V. room. Perfect! I recommended it to a friend and she stated that she is now using it daily too. Good stuff!

My wife who has rheumatoid arthritis uses this spray regularly to reduce the pain associated with her condition. She uses it primarily on her knees but also on her hands, wrists and elbows. It works fairly quickly, about 10-20 minutes to reduce the pain. She also uses it at night so that there less pain when she wakes up in the morning. It is not a singular cure all but rather another tool in her kit to reduce the inflammation and pain. She also uses TENS therapy when needed. Being an RN she also uses the traditional medications prescibed by her MD

As I get older I am starting to feel the affects of osteoarthritis in my neck and lower back. I find the roll on version of this product easier to apply. For me, it takes a bit longer to feel it working but most importantly IT REALLY HELPS!
