    I thought it would not be good but found out it's super good. It's like I had so much mail that it's just eating through. I have not had any problems yet but later if I do will let you guys know. At the moment I'm loving this thing. It has not jammed not once. Only problem is it fills up fast but that's on me since I have so much mail. 10/10 would recommend and coming from me that's not very likely. So good job.

    First, it is very quiet. I was shredding old vet documents and noticed something was wrong. I tried reversing and it was making a awful noise. I called the number on shredder and told them there must have been a rabies tag on one of the sheets. She advised me to pour 1/4 cup of cooking oil ,let it sit for a few minutes and try reverse again. They backed up and I did have to remove lid to get them but it was 2 rabies tags and it works great again!

    Well, with unit after many manual items to use, the Aurora AU1220XA was unreal! I had a line of a LOT of a tall stack to try them immediately. I used some from 4 pieces & others of 12 pieces & all of those units were rather fast! As sooner as all of the items were finished, while the AUTO setting was in place, turned it off in a couple of seconds. So far, every of the Aurora AU1220XA unit worked awesome and a class of 100 perfections!

    For its size, this shredder is a workhorse. It's able to shred 12 pages at a time; however, since I don't have a large amount to shred at one time, I only do six to avoid unnecessary wear and tear on the motor. This shredder should last me for a long time.

    Does everything listed well! It is a keeper.
    You will chop up huge amount of old papers with this shredder.
    Easy to empty and clean.

    If I could change anything I would ask for a clearing device for the shredder when emptying the bin. I can live with the way it works but some people might not like the shards dropping when you open the bin.

    I bought this after Christmas as our older one only shreds 4 sheets at a time. This new one does 12!! As long as you alternate between 12 & smaller bunches it works great. It can overheat but it only lasts for about 10 minutes and you go again. I absolutely love this one as I had 3 years of old credit card bills purged and shredded. When the new one was on a break I used my older one until it overheated. They basically worked in tandem and cut a lot of paper!! So happy to finally have a nicer shredder!!!!!

    Well made, sturdy and very quite, it does a very good job at crosscut and shredding papers. It says 12 sheet capacities but I wouldn’t insert more than 8 sheets at a time. It has good a feature like auto and reverse mode. Over all it is a good shredding machine with a good price.
