    I wanted to get this toy for my daughter so she’s less afraid of going to the doctors for her checkups. I absolutely love the concept and am in the process of getting my daughter more sustainable toys made with safer materials… that being said.. this set is very cute but there are a few things that disappointed me upon opening it up. Firstly, the items are placed in a brown paper bag, I thought maybe it was used and upon inspection that seems to be the case… so I washed it thoroughly as you should with all new toys. I discovered a slight gap in one of the tools which looks like it could be broken or simply misaligned, perhaps the fault of being shipped in a brown paper bag or being recycled materials… who knows. The stethoscope doesn’t really fit a child’s head and it doesn’t have much give and the tweezers are too close together to actually pick anything up with. revisiting the stethoscope… it had some gunk on it and the rope looks like it was dropped in mulch or something similar, it has little brown dots all in it and i’m hoping by washing it, it’ll come clean. here are some positives, the set comes with adorable stickers, my daughter absolutely loves stickers and puts them on everything she can get her hands on and the little doctors pad is cute too! The tools are the perfect size for little hands and I can see her having fun learning what they do! I only wish it came with its own little carrying case to store the tools.

    This is an awesome little set. Got it for my 2.5 yr old. He loves listening to people's hearts and testing relexes etc. The pieces are all sturdy, like every Green Toy item we've ever purchased. I do wish it came with a small bag to put everything in but for the price (wait for a sale, they have them all the time) you can't beat this. The thermometer has a piece you can spin to show happy, sad, goofy faces. My son can't do it by himself because it fits a little tight but he always asks "how are you feeling?" after taking my temperature. The tweezers can move like normal tweezers. The sheets for doctor notes might be good for older kids who are reading but I suspect they will have outgrown this toy by then. The stickers are fun though.

    Love Green Toys and this set is no different: simple, well made, hours of play. Only wish is that it came with a small bag or something to keep all the part inside- I found a small cloth zipper bag for storage to keep bits together.

    When we went to the pediatrician and Dr offered to loan daughter his stethoscope, she told him she already had one (i.e. her Green Toys one) and would bring it next time! ;)

We also have the HAPE drs kit which we use for a carrying case....which is the only improvement on This item I can think of....the kit needs a doctors bag. BTW green toys is an excellent company with excellent customer service! You won’t ever regret a green toys purchase! PS with this your little Dr can prescribe things like hugs and dance parties...hilarious ADORABLE another win!

    Overall, a good, safe and durable kit with enough key pieces. The stethoscope isn't very adjustable and falls off my 3-year-old's ears, frustrating him. This is a fair trade off considering the unsafe materials (i.e. PVC) and lesser quality of other plastic doctor's kits. It would be nice if this kit came with a reusable storage bag. It arrived packaged in a paper bag within the cardboard box - no plastic packaging. Would recommend.
