I bought these because I wanted to use them for my Halloween fx makeup work. I didnt want to use my expensive makeup brushes when working with latex and stage blood. Needless to say, these are sitting in my beauty counter right next to my MAC, CLINIQUE, and MORPHE brushes and I had to order a second set for my FX work. These brushes are amazing quality! Yes, out of the box they have a plastic smell but instead of washing them I just aired them out in my living room counter, two days later the smell was completely gone. I can't get over the quality of these brushes! Soft, and they pick up the product and distribute it evenly. I highly recommend these!!!!!

This brush set is very pretty and super soft. I don't use makeup on a daily basis and when I do, I usually use my fingers and whatever brush or applicator comes with the makeup. I like my makeup to be as natural looking as possible, so I looked a video on how to do it and that's when I saw all the different brushes for all different uses and decided to purchase a set. Since I don't wear makeup on a daily basis, I didn't want to spend a lot and this set caught my eyes, not only because they looked pretty, but because the price was phenomenal compared to similar sets. Wow, what a difference do they make. My makeup looks so smooth and natural, that now, instead of a hassle, I actually look forward to use makeup. Loved them so much, I purchased another set for a Christmas gift. :)

I have mixed feelings about this brush set but its mainly positive..First off for the price you get a s***load of brushes in a cute pink color..comes sealed in a bag that you can keep or discard. I love that each brush was individually wrapped and i plan on storing and keeping that plastic to be used as brushguards..i think this is a good set for beginners or people needing backup brushes..a lot of these look similar so you aren't getting the broadest selection and as a standalone set, i dont think these work..as a back up set sure. Now onto the negative. The smell of paint was awful! I normally like the smell of paint but this was overpowering to the point where i washed them all before use which i never normally do..i appreciated that the merchant attached a note with the explanation for the smell but thought if they are aware of the problem maybe they should try and fix it or throw in a primer or something. They have am instagram page which is bs_mall so id encourage anyone interested in these to check that out..i was going to give these as,a gift and decided last minute to keep for myself and glad i did because with that smell id have been embarrassed..overall product is okay but the presentation needs some work.

These brushes are sooo worth the price, and the pink handles are so adorable. I bought this set mainly for the face brushes and I wasn't expecting to love them so much. All the face brushes are pretty densely packed and give your face great coverage when using liquid foundation. I have used a variety of brushes but these are by far my favorite to use. I have no issues with shedding, and again like the other reviews the paint smell faded after washing. Although all the face brushes are relatively the same, I honestly don't mind because that just lets me go longer without having to wash my brushes lol.

As for the eye brushes I only use two of them. They are pretty fluffy and some of them I don't use at all because of the awkward shape, but a few could be used as crease brushes.

Highly reccomend these!

The brushes as a whole are a great set! I don't use all of them, but I do use most every morning as part of my daily makeup routine. The bristles don't shed at all, and they are very soft and fine - great for blending. They are easy to wash with gentle hand soap and warm water. The color of the handles is very cute and girly. The bigger brushes are a good girth and feel good to use in my hand. The thinner brushes are better for more detailed work like eyebrows, concealer or eye shadow. The brushes come with a recommended guide for how to use each brush with different kinds of makeup - this was very helpful for my mother (who'd never had a complete brush set) when I bought this set for her as well.

My only complaint: the part of the handles where the wood is glued into the metal piece is very weak, and starts to detach after only a couple uses. I accidentally dropped one of the larger brushes on my counter, and the wood piece completely detached from the metal piece and I could see they were only attached with a minimal amount of glue. Luckily, I had some strong glue in the house and used it to reattach the brush, and it's more steady than ever. I'm thinking about purposely detaching the other brushes so I can re-glue them and make them all more sturdy.
