  • Throw in the dishwasher or wash with warm, soapy water.
  • Remove stains with sunlight and banish smells by baking.
  • Leave seal open while microwaving and handle with care when hot.
  • Keep oven temps to 425°F or below and always use on a baking sheet.

I have purchased 2 of these and 2 that are the smaller size, and I also have the cheaper "knock-off" brand of silicone bags that use the plastic clip that slides over the opening to make it "leak-proof". These bags are great, they are thick, tuff, the silicone feels good to the touch and have had no issue with the zip-lock style seal it has. The bag does close really well, but because it closes really well, it does not open really well making it hard to get objects into the bags. Personally I use this for small snacks and dry objects, as because the bags are so sturdy, it is hard to clean the corners if small debris were to get lodged in them. Thus why I also purchased the cheaper knock off sets that came with like 8 bags off different sizes, for the same price of like 2 of these bags. at home I don't mind taking the extra steps of using the plastic piece to seal up the cheaper bags, but if I need to take food to work/school, these Stasher bags are more convenient and reliable and fashionable if your worried what others will think. But I do like these, just wished I can open the openings a bit wider for regular use. There is a picture where they place a perfectly made sandwich in the bag without bending or ruining it, I don't know how they did that, or I am just a horrible sandwich maker and I have huge fingers thus I am not capable of using this bag properly

This reusable bag has made my life easier. 
Firstly, it is microwave-safe.
I used to use a disposable sandwich bag to carry my sandwich, but I need to take the sandwich out of the zip lock bag to microwave it which I think it’s very inconvenient. With this microwave save bag, I can just toss the whole bag into a microwave and the bag won’t melt. 

Secondly, it is dishwasher friendly. 
The smell of the dishwasher capsules won’t stay in the bag. 
The smell of dishwasher capsules won’t stay on the bag after being washed in a dishwasher. I had several reusable bags that were made of silicone and polyethylene vinyl acetate (PEVA). The smell of dishwasher cleaner will stay on the bag and won’t go off. When you put food in them, there is a strong cleaner smell to your food.
Lastly, the size is perfect for one sandwich.
  It has no problem to put two slices of sandwich with sandwiched ingredients, such as  a fried-egg, cheese and a sliced ham, but it is slightly small for Costco Croissant.

For silicone, they are not stretchy at all. They get the job done, are easy to clean, and overall a great replacement for 'disposable' bags. The only issue I have with these is getting things into the baggie. It is a big difficult to fit a big sandwich in the sandwich sized bag because the opening is small and has no stretch, despite being silicone. Other than that, though, these bags are nearly perfect! They look sleek and don't stand out in your kitchen (unless you get bright colors), which I really appreciate. I wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher if they've had grosser foods in them, or just rinse them out in the sink and leave them to dry before stacking them in the utensil drawer for storage. Great product and can't wait for improved and newer versions!

I use a lot of ziplock bags every day…well I used to anyways. The other day my friend told me about these reusable silicone bags that you can get at the store so I got some. They were kind of expensive but I figured I can just get a refund if I don’t like them. I’m trying to convert more of my disposable kitchen items to be more eco-friendly. So between these bags,  swedish dishcloths,  and  silicone baking mats,  I think I’m off to a good start! The one I got is in aqua, it says on the packaging that its 15-ounce.

I tried it out immediately once I got home. My first impression was that the material was very thick and rubbery…in a good way. I was a bit skeptical about how it closes since it seemed kind of flimsy but to my surprise it actually closes very securely. Its funny actually after I closed it I struggled to get it back open again. So yeah, the seal will definitely seal your food.

The next day I used it to bring my sandwich to work (I usually use a regular baggie). Of course I gave it a good wash beforehand. One thing thats great about the silicone is it keeps the shape of your food…in other words my sandwich didn’t squashed like it sometimes does in my work bag. There wasn’t any noticeable smell or anything either coming from the silicone…my sandwich tasted exactly the same as before so that’s a good thing. I know sometimes if the material is bad it can leave an odor in your food which I think is really gross.

Whats even more impressive is that the silicone is microwavable. This actually makes eating lunch super convenient at work…I can just put the whole thing in the microwave for 15 seconds and I’ll get a warm meal. Whereas when I used regular baggies I would never get the luxury of eating a warm sandwich. Ive already had a coworker as me about them. I guess it attracts attention when you put something like that in the microwave. Ive never used it on the stove top though it says you can. The idea of putting it over open flame kind of makes me nervous so I think i’ll hold back on that for now.

Like others have said they wash up great in the dishwasher too. I don’t use my dishwasher too often though so I just clean them by hand. Just use soap and water…the regular stuff, and leave it to air dry. I always dump the excess water out first otherwise i’ll take that much longer.

The bottomline is that they’re great reusable bags. The silicone is high quality and doesn’t have any smell. They’re microwavable and easy to wash as well. My only complaint is that yeah they’re a little hard to open and close. I guess thats a good thing since it means that the seal works well? Or maybe I’m just lacking power in my fingers who knows…Anyways I don’t regret buying this product though it was kind of pricey. Less stuff to the landfill is always a good thing imo.
