time. Been using it for almost 3 years and no problem
Case in point. The room where our cat's litter boxes live is a step down from the rest of the house, and has vinyl flooring. Litter gets everywhere, and then gets tracked all over the rest of the house... very annoying! After living with this for some time and just trying to sweep frequently, we decided the room would be perfect for a vacuum robot that could run on a timer every night without fail. After doing some research, we purchased a different vacuum robot that had a timer function, but sent it back within a few weeks as the timer only worked randomly and the robot overall just didn't do the best job. Another week or so of research and I saw this Coredy (who I had never heard of before) robot on sale, so we decided to take a chance.
Boy are we glad we did! This thing is fantastic. The timer is a BREEZE to set up, and ""just works"" every single time without fail. This little bot is also FAST. Much faster than either our Mint/Bravas or the other vacuum bots we've tried. The dust bin holds several days' worth of junk and is quite easy to dump out (though its clasps were extremely stiff the first few times and was very hard to open at first, but that went away after a week or two).
So we have it set to come out at 3am and vacuum, and when it's done it goes back to its charger under a couch... so it's completely hidden when not in use! Love that. Takes somewhere around 2 hours to be completely done (I've wandered out in the 5am hour to find it still running, but not in the 6am hour). It is very low profile so can get under just about anything, although it does get stuck when going under our recliner at just the right angle. We've taken to placing something in front of that spot so the bot will just navigate around it and not get stuck, which works well.
This little guy (girl? We haven't yet decided...) is incredibly quiet as well. At night we don't hear it working at all unless we get up and walk all the way into the kitchen which adjoins the room the bot is in. And the noise it does make isn't terribly high pitched, so it's not piercing or annoying at all. I've even let it run while I was watching TV in the same room and it didn't bother me at all. It has a remote control so you can manually drive it also which is both fun and efficient when we need a quick spot vacuum anywhere in the house. Definitely beats dragging the Dyson out of the garage, unwrapping the cord, plugging it in, vacuuming, then reversing the whole procedure. Sure when we need a serious vacuum of our rugs or whatever, the full size vac is better... but for nearly all day-to-day small vacuum needs, this thing is the reigning champ!
It does a very good job as well, every morning the room with the litter boxes is pretty much spotless. If the cats have made a mess in the hours since the bot ran, I just either hit a button on the remote to let it run again on its own, or I'll drive it real quick to spot clean where it's needed, then push the button to send it back home to charge. It's absolutely amazing. Since using it in the cat's litter box room, there is MUCH less litter anywhere in the house. There still is a little bit, it's inevitable... but nothing at all compared to how it was before. Oh yeah and 3 of our cats basically couldn't care less about it, and one just adores the thing and follows it everywhere

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
First off, here are my credentials for rating cleaning products: I'm a solo parent to an 8yo boy, a 4 yo girl, a yellow lab, a not-so-mini Aussie (black), and a cat. I have a backyard, with grass, dirt, and all the things little kids and dogs track in. I live in a real-life chaos machine. As a bonus my son and I both have ADHD, which means menial daily tasks are the bane of our existence. So fun! As such I am fully qualified to rate and review the usefulness of any cleaning device or tool in real world conditions.
Bought this little bot last week (the week of Thanksgiving 2023) on the Black Friday sale. He was supposed to be a Christmas present for me so that I would have something to unwrap while my kids make confetti out of wrapping paper Christmas morning. Alas, my ADHD brain won the fight for decision making power so he got opened up as soon as he arrived today. Because why should I have to wait a whole month for cleaner floors? Was it even a choice to begin with?
Anyway, I took his sleek little body out and got him all ready with his little brushy feet on the bottom, and pulled out the foam pieces they stuck in to keep his bumper from getting bruised in transport. I filled his little water tank and looked doubtfully at the thin microfiber mopping pad (more on that later). I read enough of the instructions to know to get his little charging dock ready for him. I found him a nice cozy spot in an open area.
The instructions said to charge him up fully before the first use, but my ADHD brain knows better and decided to let him get to work right away. After setting up the remote I pressed the play button. Nothing happened. Me thinks "Should I read more directions?" ADHD brain says "No, press it again." Nope. One more time, and off to the races he goes! I spent a few minutes using the remote to steer him around a bit. Kinda fun. My kids will LOVE it! I ran around and picked up anything I thought he might get stuck on and then just let him do his thing. The dogs are pretty sure he will eat them, but thankfully they don't try to kill it like they do with the lawnmower. The cat is intrigued...from a distance.
I am GLEEFUL! Someone else is vacuuming FOR ME!!! On this alone I LOVE HIM and I will never ever not have a robot vacuum from now on! My only regret is all the years I have spent without one. Sniffle. On to rate his performance!
Yes, I did have to rescue him many times from getting stuck on things I didn't realize he would get stuck on. He found half of a paper plate under my guest bed and carried that around under his belly for a few minutes before I investigated the weird sound. Thanks, little bot! I didn't know that was under there. And yes, I was right to be doubtful about the mopping function. There is no way that dragging that damp flimsy microfiber around under his butt is going to clean much. Maybe after a deep clean and I have him on a daily schedule? That might work, but I'm not holding my breath so I deducted a star. However, he did vacuum pretty well. Even though he was not fully charged the floor is noticeably cleaner. He didn't have time to finish before he died, which was expected on a partial charge, but I feel good about him doing a good job on a daily basis. If he can just help me keep up with the dirt and hair all over the place so that I can comfortably walk around barefoot then he will be worth his weight in gold!
I think also knowing that he is going to be doing his job at a certain time every day will help me make sure the floor is picked up so he doesn't get stuck. Also, after we get to know each other better I may move his dock to a hidden place under the couch because I read a review where someone did that and thought it was a great idea. He'll be more protected from the chaos that way. This is my first robot vacuum, so I don't know if he is better than any of the others. I got him because he was on sale, he had good reviews, and he "mops". I am happy.
Final verdict?
Did you read all the way down here? Wow, you're just like me! We should be friends! Anyway, If you don't have a robot vacuum and your situation is anything like mine (ND, kids, solo parent, dogs, cats, general chaos) this is your sign to get one ASAP! Get this one. He's cute, easy to use, and does what he's told. You don't even need to read all the instructions! (You probably should though).
