These 2 large beautiful blue bowls are great for huge servings of soup such as for ramen or pho. They are large enough to use as serving bowls for side dishes for a small family or when only a couple of people are eating together. I used one of the bowls for serving jumbo shrimp for shrimp cocktail. The bowls remind me of an open flower blossom, which is a very pretty way to serve and eat food. These bowls come with 2 wooden long-handled spoons which strike me as more decorative than useful. There are also 2 sets of wooden chopsticks which are also more decorative than useful. The chopsticks are smooth with no roughened area at the bottom to assist in gripping food. My rating is 5 stars for the quality and beauty of the bowls.
