Looks really nice but the metal bends easily
The one we purchased a few years ago started getting rusty so I bought this one. It looks really nice sharp clean Teflon, handle color etc. but I noticed the cover wasn't fitting on and realize it's because it's no longer circle. I never even used it. Just moving the handle bends a metal and ruins the roundness of the pan.

I think this is the handiest pan. It’s huge. Nice and sturdy; heats evenly, and it is perfect for fried chicken because it’s deep. I have made soups and stews in it— it holds five quarts ( the size of my stockpot). Cleans easily without soaking because nothing sticks to it. Very happy with the quality. The lid fits securely.

I was hoping I’d find another tfal pot. My old one finally gave out… but it was my fault…made fudge in it.

But this one is a beautiful medium weight large frying pan with helper handle and glass lid.

My old one was washed consistently in the dishwasher and took a lot of abuse but never showed any wear whatsoever.
Be back after I cook a meal in it such as meatballs and spaghetti sauce.
Came well packaged and protected….but I’ll be honest the first one I ordered was dented at top rim. It was quickly returned and reordered.

On the whole, I am pleased with this pan. It distributes heat evenly and I have been able to saute veg, meats, and eggs without using oils. The pan is surprising light, which means I won't try to do anything at high heats (I'm not confident it will hold up at high heats). I never thought I would by another teflon nonstick pan again…until I found this. It was an incredible promo price (just under 20.00), and I could not resist. What I liked about this just from the description was that it came with a vented lid and it had a helper handle. The incredible lightweight maneuverability of the pan is a feature you can appreciate only when you use it IRL. Buy it just for that reason alone!

What you’ll discover is a pan that heats evenly and has a nice large cooking surface where you can really saute foods without stewing (due to a too small pan). Mushrooms are my acid test of a saute pan. If I can saute them without alot of water releasing, then I know the pan can maintain its temperature…(of course, the mushrooms have to be fresh, firm and not spongy old).

TFal also has a little helper feature that indicates when the pan is at proper temp—the center emblem goes from dotted edges to solid edges. It really works as a helper!

Also, the tempered glass lid has a vent (can see contents better than non vented lid) and you can turn it upside down on the countertop because the top handle has a flat surface.

Best part of this pan is ease of cleanup. Literally, just rinse with warm water after cooldown. Oh, also, make sure to lightly season it before first use, and occasionally thereafter. (Yes, even teflon pans need to be gently seasoned a little. When I say gently, I mean, on stovetop only, and not in a screaming hot oven as would be for a carbon steel pan. Just lightly coat pan with oil, heat to almost smoking point, cool, then wipe clean w paper towels.)

This pan was a pleasant surprise! I use it almost every day now, as my other cookware sits idle in the cabinet. If your left wrist is in pain from lifting heavy cooking pans, try this. Your wrist will love it!

I have had this pan for about 8 months, and it still works like new. I've used it a couple of times a week, never a problem. I always use bamboo or nylon utensils with this and hand wash it with hot soapy water. A fantastic value and a very versatile pan it's big enough to handle most one pot recipes. The lid that comes with it fits very tightly and is vented. This is a type of pan everyone should have in their kitchen, and I would recommend this one for someone who casually cooks.
