I ordered 3 of these masks, then read the reviews and thought oh no I won’t be able to see. They have just arrived and I took the protective layer off the back which was easy to see and remove and thought it’s sort of ok but not very clear then I had a look again and there is another protective cover on the front of the mask. This protective cover is completely over the front of the mask even around the fastening studs, so it takes a bit of work, but once it is removed the mask is perfect and very clear.

I was very impressed that they came with peel off protector sheets on both sides of the face shield. I thought that the face shields were very comfortable, but my kids complained about them being tight. They fog up sometimes on the top half, but I think that all face shields tend to do this. I keep one in my car, but have to be careful about not bending it out of shape. Overall I really like them, so purchased another 4 and recommend them to friends.

Be aware of the limitations

First off, these are NOT a replacement for a face mask! There is a huge gap around the bottom and the sides up to about the bottom of your ears. It will not protect you from others nor others from you anywhere near as well as a mask. It does not come straight down -- it sticks out at an angle. I bought it to have an extra layer of protection -- on top of a mask and eyewear -- in case I had to go to protests to, you know, protect our democracy. I honestly don't know if it would have been any help -- it would have just made me feel a little safer. Fortunately I didn't need to use it for that. I did use it while unclogging a drain, to protect my face from splash-back, and found that the gap at the bottom is so large that I had to bend my neck at practically a 90 degree angle to actually protect my face, which wasn't very comfortable. The description says the headband is adjustable -- maybe I'm just dense, but I don't see any way to adjust it. Perhaps they just mean that it's elastic. Well, the elastic starts to stretch out pretty quickly -- within a few minutes, I was having to keep pushing it back up into place. Look, it's super cheap, so I didn't expect a lot -- and that's exactly what I got.

When you spray paint or stain, it gets everywhere. The first time I stained my fence, there was light wind and the stain got all over my glasses and was hard to get off. The next time, I wore goggles. Much better but it still got on my face and in my nose. With this shield. It did neither. The stain got on the shield and when I was done staining, I just threw is away. There are 5 in a package. Very comfortable and easy to use with glasses. You may have expected a review from a medical professional--God Bless them, but that's how I used mine.

Unfortunately does not work if you wear glasses. The photos shown in the advert are sadly photoshopped and not real users. As such the mask is angled high and presses the glasses into the face making it uncomfortable and unprotected as it does not pass the mouth. I wear small rimless glasses so someone with larger frames will definitely have a problem here.

Otherwise without glasses it fits snug and wraps properly. But I can't see without glasses so it is not a product for me. Very good price however.

The foam it's much smaller than in the pictures as the product is shipped vacuum packed flat crushing the foam. This doesn't change the feel I suppose but it definitely makes the shield much closer to your face, a positive possibly but also what makes it impossible to pair with glasses.
