Leaking all the time!
Bought this bottle to replace the last one I owned which I accidentally dropped and dented. This one leaks almost every other time I tilt it up to drink from it. Leak comes from the area where the lid screws on. I previously loved this brand but I’m sick of getting coffee stains on my shirts so sadly this one has to go.

The S'well Sip travel mug is attractive and works well, and for the time-being hasn't leaked. They are easy to hold and are pretty good travel mugs for use in the car. My only complaints are that the mug is not dishwasher-safe and needs to be hand-washed. Also, the mug's bottom is a little "fat" and has to be pushed down pretty hard in my car's cup-holder, and removing the mug from the cup-holder can be a little tricky while driving 65 MPH. Also, after taking a few sips (especially while driving), a small bit of liquid residue on the cover's rim typically drips down the side of the mug, unless I lick it off first. But after taking these minor inconveniences into consideration, the mug does what it's supposed to do, and keeps hot liquids hot for a long period of time. I would recommend these Sip by S'well travel mugs.

I also love that it is easy to clean and doesn’t taste like coffee when I switch it from hot drinks to ice water.

I am not sure if other people happened to get the random bad one-offs but my wife ordered this and has had hot coffee for at least 2-3 hours while using it. Even with the lid completely off! She says she likes using it while around the house as well (she is the type of person who takes a long time to finish one cup of coffee, especially being a new mom and not having a chance to sit and enjoy it in one sitting). The only small issue, which is why she left 4 stars, was that when you close the tab completely shut, it is very tough to re-open. Which is actually great for the spill proof part of it, but when you want to open again to drink, just seemed risky to spill hot coffee on yourself. But otherwise, you can close it somewhat while on a walk or in a car, and it still seems to do the trick for keeping the beverage hot and inside. We bought this one because the S'Well water bottle we had did such a great job at keeping water cool when left in the car on hot days -- so it comes to no surprise that this travel mug would do the same for hot beverages on cold days! No regrets on this purchase - worth the price for sure!
