Overall a great set of lights. They are very bright LEDs that are covered in plastic. It is waterproof and there is 8 set of icicles in one light set. You can connect multiple strings of these lights via USB A. They also plug into the wall via USB A which is handy. These lights would look great outside your house for Christmas or on a Christmas tree. However you could also just hang them on a wall or in a room. Overall a great durable set of lights and I would recommend them to someone who like the look of these lights.

I originally got these to use outside with the rest of our lights however it is powered by a usb and I have no way to plug a usb in outside so I am using them in our livingroom window. They look so pretty hanging in the window I am kind of happy they didnt work out outside. They light up in sequence and look way better than traditional icicles lights. I have them powered by one of my powerbanks as it is way easier for me. Since it requires minimal power and is low energy consumption it lasts for a little bit on just 1 charge.

The white lights appear to be a warm white in the video but they are definitely the cool white shade. Pay attention to the fact that it’s a USB plug on each end (one end female, one male). You can use a USB charging brick but if you’re using the lights outside you have to make sure the plug is in a waterproof case & that the other end is also waterproofed somehow. The guy in the electrical dept at Lowes was very concerned about the fact that USB plugs were not made for outdoors and to make sure the converter brick matched the amps of the USB and that when plugged in to an outlet/extension cord that it wouldn’t overheat. Keep all of that in mind if you plan on using them outside. It’s not as simple as buying & plug them in. I’m still debating on if I should send them back.

Beautiful lights but ONLY when it's dry out. Because the string requires a USB-port-to-AC plug-in, we found that any sort of moisture (as in RAIN) will cause the lights to go out. Now, mind you, it's not the light string that fails.... it's the USB port. I even tried enclosing all the connections in plastic but that didn't work well either. Here's my advice: there are many "drip light" makers; find a brand that DOES NOT require a separate USB plug-in but instead has a sealed screw-type connection. THAT'S the type I switched to and they have yet to fail....even in Seattle's extra-wet climate.
