After a lot of research I picked Stanley because of the size, durability, and to keep the coffee hot.-It's very heavy duty, if I somehow smacked it off the counter it would be fine.-It keeps the coffee hot, even with spout open.-Pressing the coffee is smooth like butter. I haven't had any loose grounds in my coffee.-Cleaning and disassembly is easy.Only issue is the metal band and the lid absorbs that heat and gets burning hot.

This was an absolute hit at the camp site! It makes a great cup of coffee. I would say it stays hot for roughly 3 hours around hour 4 it starts to get warm. Doesn’t really matter what the temp is outside it’ll keep the coffee hot. You get around 44oz per pot roughly three 14oz cups. It has a small arrow to indicate where you need to turn the lid to pour the coffee. If you leave it to sit with arrow aligned to the pour spot the coffee will lose heat at a faster rate than leaving it misaligned. The lid sits flush against the the container and even though it is not air tight, I feel confident pouring without having to hold the lid. I have used this several times and have not gotten a single coffee ground poured out once. It is very easy to clean and is a cute color.

I like everything about this French Press. It's all stainless steel, it's durable, attractive, easy to use and easy to clean. It's insulated so there is no need to transfer the coffee to another container once made, and it makes a great cup of coffee!

Now my one and only gripe...

The one thing I am disappointed with is Stanley's customer service when I contacted them about obtaining replacement mesh filters. My inquiry was not warranty related, I simply wanted a couple of spare filters to have on hand. I had checked the Stanley website prior to contacting them and there were no replacement mesh filters listed on the spare parts/accessories page. In my initial correspondence I clarrified that I had already checked the website without luck. In the reply from Stanley I was told to check the Stanley website 🙄, and if not available there I was instructed to check my local hardware, retail, and grocery stores, or even Ebay and Amazon. So, when your mesh filter does wear out, or get damaged, you're on your own finding a replacement. Just be prepared for a little difficulty in your search because these use an uncommon size filter.

This French press is over sized and over engineered, and there’s no other way I would have it from this point forward. It can make a ton of coffee to fuel your morning, and then keep it hot for hours if you want to enjoy it all day. The lid has a big insulated top to keep the warmth in. It has a sturdy handle, and it is really easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. It does have to go on the bottom rack because it is so large, but that’s not a big deal.

Pros: hot coffee for hours, a lot of coffee per pot, dishwasher safe, can double as a self-defense tool

Cons: nothing to note

This is an easy 5stars for our household! Try to find it on a deal, but worth the money either way.

This is the best French press I’ve owned so far. It’s elegant enough for having company over for breakfast/brunch and just as at home and durable for camping. Typically we use an espresso maker for our morning coffee (Mr coffee cafe barista and it’s out performed our prior 400-500$ machines which all broke within 1 yr) so with company over it could take a while to make everyone a nice morning cup. Needed one durable enough for use in the Camper also. This has 40oz volume, very clean no grains and floaters, cleans/washes so easily, and looks nice. Cannot go wrong, just buy it already

It works well. The lid does leave some room for improvement since it is not fully isolated, and does not retain heat as well as the body. The French press mechanism itself is fairly well built, and fairly easy to clean, and you can disassemble it completely to clean every single component, the coffee that you make in this device is fully dependent on your ability to make a French press. The volume that this device can contain is quite massive and I would not recommend it for a single or double portion, this works very well for a quadruple up to a octuple portion. Other than that, this is an excellent device.
