For starters, my goal is to recover from my workouts faster. As I get older it takes longer to recover. At least five days now after a grueling work out. With the Renpho Massage gun I have reduced that to two days.
A few weeks earlier I thought that a vibrating roller would serve the same purpose. Considering that you have to be a contortionist, wallow around embarrassingly like someone demented on the floor just isn't effective and the vibration feels more like two gnats cuddling on your skin. A roller is way to cumbersome and the only parts of your body that you can get to are what you can sit on or lay on and the pressure / weight of your body can't be effectively controlled.
Now enter the Renpho massage gun at it's now more reasonable price and you have many more areas of your body that you can effectively reach at pressures that make more sense given the area of your body or the degree of soreness. It much more effective to be able to place the head of the gun on a place of your body that you can control the position, impact and pressure of the vibration. The most amazing thing about this is that the drive of the vibration can be slow but powerful. It will not bog down even if you bury the head deep into your hamstring or quad muscles. I purposely got sore deep in my thighs and the massage gun was able to go right down to the tendons near my femur and relive the soreness there. The gun never slowed down and the battery power still had many hours left on it.
The first thing I noticed is the quality build of the massage gun is excellent. From the looks of the User Interface to the feel in your hands you can tell that this would probably be a good experience. It's like when you open and Apple product you know the quality is going to be good.
Finally, I brought the massage gun up to my face to see if facial massaging was something that would be feasible. Most "vibrators" are really annoying devices to me; more like annoying irritation than true relaxing massage. I have effectively used this massage gun to do facial skin and neck massage on the lowest settings. Obviously you don't want to put this on your eyes or the end of your nose, but if you don't say it, somebody will do it and it will not be fun. I do find this to be an effective tool for doing facial massage.

Great Quality, Great Massage, and an Extra Long Battery Life
The product comes in a sturdy, well organized, and easy to carry case. I was really impressed with the craftsmanship. The product comes on a half charge and charging it didn't seem to take too long, though I didn't time it. I was happy that there was a colored indicator ring on the bottom to show the charging level. I also liked that there was a numerical display to also indicate to amount of charge.My first impression with handling the massager was that it did not feel like it was made of cheap materials. I felt like it would be a long lasting piece of equipment. One thing I did not like was the weight of it. Although it is not necessarily that heavy to maneuver at first, I could see where its weight may become problematic if used for a prolonged period of time, especially if used on the back of an individual sitting instead of laying down. This may be a necessary design to help keep the massager from bouncing (see below).The massager comes with 4 different adapters and with speed range of 1-20. The different adapters are definitely useful for different parts of the body; however, I don't personally need to have a speed above 5 - in most cases having the speed on 1 was more than enough. One drawback to its use as well was that the massage takes place by the device moving the adapter in and out at a high speed. This is great in many instances and provides a relaxing, enjoyable massage, but is problematic on those who have a more petite frame. The device likes to bounce instead of stay in location to perform a massage on areas with lower fat/muscle mass such as the shoulder and rib areas on the back. It takes some getting used to, but this drawback can be overcome with better positioning of the device and the person being massaged, as well more downward force being exerted.I used the product on myself and my wife over the course of a couple of weeks. The battery life appears to be outstanding as I have only charged it when I first got it and it is still charged to an 8 out 10. We are very pleased with the massager and would recommend it to anyone who needs to work out tight, sore muscles or is just looking to indulge in a little relaxation. I would recommend, though, that you wait until the price comes down a little bit. For my personal taste it does seem a bit expensive...but once again, it does deliver on all of its promises. Great product.

The six massage heads offer a ton of flexibility for choosing how to use the massager. I like the gentleness of the air-cushion head when my partner uses this on my back, and the spherical shape of the ball head makes this easy to use when I'm alone and want to massage my own back.
The massager cannot be used while it is charging, but the battery charges really quickly (more than 30% in less than 10 minutes) and lasts really long (less than 10% battery drain in over 30 minutes of use).
The first time I used this item, I was worried that I had damaged the screen on the back, but then I discovered that it was just a plastic protector, which is meant to be removed. To the seller/manufacturer: add a tab to this plastic cover so it is obvious it is meant to be removed.
The case has a convenient carrying handle. One strange thing is the handle seems to be on the wrong side (the side where the zipper starts and ends, like a CD case), at least based on what I would generally expect. But that's fine, not going to deduct any stars for that.
Once again, amazing!
