About 18 years ago my boyfriend was sold on one of these at the mall. I looked at it and said to myself "how ridiculous." "What won't they invent next." I said this until I tried it and then I was hooked. Well my boyfriend's version is all bent out of shape, so I have been ordering many of these from different vendors and trying them all.There are two flimsy wire fingers in the package. Yes they will bend easily with lots of use but that is expected and they will still be functional. I tried this immediately out of the box and it had me PURRING in a few seconds. It feels so great to press and cover my scalp with this and then lightly roll it around. It seems ridiculous, but it just makes me want to PURR; it is like getting a feather massage on the scalp. I am glad I now have short to medium hair because when I had long hair, these type "wire fingers" always got tangled in my hair.In summary, these wire fingers are great. The current price of $10.52 ($11.69 minus 10 %) is very reasonable as he paid $20 for his. Of course the wire fingers on his version were thicker but these thin fingers actually feel better.  The only reason I rated this 4 stars is because I was really looking forward to getting the blue and pink handles; however, I received gold and black handles. It does say it comes in assorted colors but one does not have a choice of color that they receive and color is very important to me.Note that so far I tried the following massagers and they are all the same except for the # of fingers, price, and handle color. Nevertheless, they all ALMOST feel exactly the same on my head no matter how many wire fingers they have and the wire width is thin on all of them.
