We got this coffee maker about a year ago (10 months in use) as we wanted a single gadget for quick K-cup coffees as well as Nespresso Pods. The overall footprint and idea definitely delivers, and the coffee is very consistent.However, within 6 months, the top started cracking (which you see in the photo). The machine is still currently operational, but the cracks get worse each day and I’m not sure how much longer it will last. This wasn’t cheap enough to replace easily either.The second flaw is the sheer frequency of descaling required. Unlike typical Keurigs where you can bypass the alert for descaling a little, the machine starts flashing all its lights and will refuse to brew a cup of coffee until you fully descale. While I appreciate descaling is a part of maintenance, we have had to do this 6 times now, so almost every other month. This is extra tough when you’re new parents with a baby at home and no ability to bypass to a more convenient time - while caffeine deprived.All in all, loved the concept of a one-stop-shop and ability to use K-cups and Nespresso pods, but the quality and user experience has been poor.

I have spent a lot of time looking for the best machine to make individual cups of coffee. I have had multiple Nespresso and Keurig machines. While I like the Nespresso machines, the pods are expensive and difficult to recycle. The Keurig brand machines are really junky. I have had several break down way too soon and they are a pain to clean. I came across this machine in my research and couldn’t be happier. Sometimes you just want an espresso and you can use Nespresso pods for that. Other times you may want a cup of coffee or a specialty coffee and you can use any number of K-cup pods to get that done. This machine is of a higher quality then Keurig machines, looks great on the counter and is easy to use. I highly recommend this machine.

Every Keurig we buy fails only having it for a couple years. Follow all maintenance as Instructed by manufacturer. They fail like clockwork! This Insta coffee maker is simple and efficient! I can even fill up my tumbler. Definitely a great buy, if you don't like the beeping noises you can mute them all.

The media could not be loaded.
 Had an issue where recently the K-cup side stopped producing the appropriate amount of water for the cup. It was giving me about half the amount selected. The nespresso side was still functioning. I've had this unit for two months.

Update: called support and they require a video for RMA which is too big for Gmail so posting here. It is now only giving 1 oz and leaving 11 on the counter/inside the unit somewhere .

Today, I tried to rinse it through when only getting 2 oz with 12 oz selected and a K cup inserted. I tried again and got maybe 1 oz. more. Then I tried running without a K-cup and a measuring cup in. I got the low water warning so wondered where the water was going, then noticed it was sitting in a puddle! I had to quickly move the very hot machine over to the sink at an angle to hopefully drain the rest of the water out. It wasn't coming through the K-cup dispenser, it was coming out INSIDE the machine.

I started a ticket on Thursday, but have not heard from them yet. I will update here on the resolution.

Update: Their support is pretty slow and they required I submit a video of the issue, which I posted here and on YouTube. They did end up sending a new unit, but be warned, the new unit started to exhibit issues after less than a dozen K-cups were used to make coffee. The new unit distributes more than 10 oz of water on the 10 oz setting, but doesn't overfill the cup. I found a pipe cleaner is needed to be used on the top nozzle after the first dozen K-cups so if you order this, have one handy to run through it or you'll end up with water everywhere when it ultimately becomes so clogged running water through won't clear it. In fact, I had tried running water through in the most recent case and ended up needing the pipe cleaner.

I would not recommend the unit, I'm leaving it at one star.

This machine is easy to use, but don't let that fool you. I have made great coffee with K cups, and excellent espresso with original style Nespresso aluminum pods. It also comes with a good reusable K cup, which allows me to use my own ground coffee. In addition, I bought a reusable original nespresso style stainless cup with sticker type lids, which allows me to make espresso with my own ground coffee. How's that for versatility! Still, the controls are intuitive, and the average person will have this machine figured out in a couple of minutes. (It still is a good idea to read the clearly written manual).
The coffee and espresso produced by this is, in my opinion, top quality and very tasty. The espresso side with the 19 bar pressure pump make a nice crema layer, while the K cup side extracts a nice full bodied coffee. I also appreciate the large water reservoir with the low water warning light. Other than the tendency for it to dribble after the cycle is complete, I can find no issues with this capable machine, and recommend its purchase.

I bought this coffee maker about 14 months ago and up until 12 months ago it has been amazing. First the good - both the espresso and k-cup functions work really well. I haven't had any issues with any of the k-cups (both reusable/single use) or espresso pods. The reservoir is a perfect size, not too big or too small and it's removable. The coffee/espresso size options are also pretty versatile and will fit most coffee/espresso drinkers well. For the fact that it's dual use, the foot print is actually pretty small and although it might not be perfect for a small space it's efficient in size. The drip tray is removable to accommodate taller mugs/tumblers and the espresso pods get put in an internal waste basket that can be removed once it gets full. To access it you pull the espresso cup tray out.

Now the not so good...its pretty loud. It's never been an issue for me, but it can be unpleasant. The cord is also ridiculously short. For an appliance that is going to be on a counter top, it's not so bad - but I have mine on a bar cart and it barely reaches the outlet that is lined up with the bar cart. Finally, and my biggest issue, is the unit started leaking. It looks like it leaks from the bottom of the reservoir where it connects to the machine and causes a mess on the floor. I tried descaling and it seemed to help the k-cup side, but it had no effect on dripping when I used the espresso side (could be a pressure thing?). About a month later and the k-cup side has started leaking profusely again. I've also noticed it leads to less coffee.

I saw numerous other reviews that mentioned this and I do believe this comes from either a bad batch of parts, or some type of design flaw. I did reach out to the manufacturer and they are sending a replacement unit after sending a video of the leaking/proof of purchase.

It seems it's kind of a mixed bag in terms of leaking. I would still highly recommend this, but just be aware that if you get leaking, you should reach out to the manufacturer immediately. If this unit was quieter and didn't have reliability problems it would be a solid 5/5. When it works, I love it!

If you’re like me, and want both a nespresso and k-cup mixed into one for your morning coffee, of by themselves, this machine is for you! Love that it can do both pod styles, along with a refillable one, and it’s about the same size as a keurig. I can put them both in and then brew one after the other. It also has a little drawer to store the used nespresso pods. For the nespresso pods, it takes probably 45 seconds after you’ve pressed the size button for it to start pouring, and for the the k-cups about 10 seconds. The noise it makes isn’t that bad, and I actually found it to be a little quieter than my DeLonghi nespresso machine. Water tank is nice and big and easy to fill up. Highly recommend this machine, and even more so if you can find it on a warehouse deal. I got mine for $138 saying it didn’t have a box and had some minor cosmetic defects. When it arrived it did come in a box that had been opened, but when I took out the machine it had never been unwrapped and had all the original tape holding the loose parts together, so I really lucked out and thank whoever sent this one to me. Makes me appreciate this machine even more!

This is my first coffee machine so I am not really sure what to look for at the initial stages.
The machine looks very well built and seems to have good features. How much I will enjoy it will be known after a few weeks of use..
However I would definitely like to commend Mr. Khan from the coffee machine company for a very detailed and comprehensive video demonstration of the product. He was very considerate, knowledgeable and patient and did a wonderful job sharing tips on the best way to use this machine.
I look forward to an equally good experience with the machine itself.

The amount of water it holds is amazing and love the dual function of nespresso and coffee. It is loud but it doesn't bother me at all. Brews quick and is nice and hot. Very happy with this purchase.

He explained the features of the machine and also how to take care of cleaning and maintenance over a period of time. He shared several do's and dont's as well. His knowledge and inputs were very useful.
