Wonderful bed platform!
Are you looking for something affordable, simple and sturdy? This was exactly what we were looking for and I’m super impressed.We originally got this to replace our previous boxspring that was made by the same company we purchased the mattress from. It was made of wood and completely broken so we needed something strong that would hold up.I’m very handy and I can usually tell if something is going to be a pain to put together or flimsy pretty quickly. However, I was immediately impressed with the materials and the fact that they included a nice ratchet wrench. It took me about 30 minutes or so to put together. We got the king size for our guest room so the box was pretty heavy. It says to use two people to carry it. I always say, “two people or one stubborn DIY-er. I was able to get this down into our basement and set it up all alone.I like that this is 16 inches off the floor. Our guests will have room to fit their bags under the bed and out of the way.This does have metal cross bars which could make noise over time. However, they have put a foam strip down the center support rod which prevents Andy noises from occurring for now.The only negative for me is there would be no way to attach a headboard. I’m sure you could figure it out though if that’s something you decided on doing.

Overall I truly love this frame and would highly recommend it.
At first when I opened up the box and laid out all of the parts that task in front of me seems a little daunting, but once I got the first few sections put together everything was pretty simple and quick after that. You honestly just have to follow that easy letter coated directions and it sort of clicks in your mind.
I like how the tools are included but quite honestly I don’t think I used it very often. I think I used it only when I had to tighten up certain screws. Also I like how they were extra nuts and bolts. That always helps. I can also tell that in order to remove it from this room when I go back to my old house I would just have to take half of it apart. That will save a lot of time and energy.
The bed itself is not wobbly, nor does it feel like it is going to collapse under your weight. It easily handle is me, my husband, are 50 pound dog, are 10 pound dog, and one or two of our cats all at the same time! LOL I have a queen size mattress and frame.
The only thing I noticed which prevented me from giving it five stars was that the top part felt like it was weaning down. At first I thought I put it together wrong, but then I realized the mattress is kind of “sinking” through the upper part of the bars.
Which would be easily preventable if I used a boxspring, or I’m going to get half a sheet of plywood- just for the upper part of the bed. Think from your lower back to the top of your head. I’ve seen this happen in other bed similar to this .
It’s really easy to move when I clean underneath or I make the bed. It is a decent height off of the ground, has plenty of clearance underneath for storage space such as plastic bed boxes/crate/etc. I do have to help my Chihuahua on and off of the bed. So I bought him a set of doggy stairs to help.
It does not wobble or shake or make noise if you roll around a lot on it for when you get up and down off the bed. I was concerned about that and happy that is no longer a concern of mine.
Over all this bedframe is a good investment and I would definitely recommend it and buy it again.
