The metal part rusted within a couple of weeks, additionally, the vibrations are too rough for my kid. Amazon won't accept the return since it was just outside of the 30 day window (missed by a week, also reposting this review that was submitted on April 19 but Amazon rejected for reasons that are not clear to me). Amazon referred me to Oral B. First, I reached out to Oral B customer service through chat and was told that since I do not have the original packaging, they cannot honor their money back guarantee. Then I spent hours on a phone call with an Oral B customer service rep who said that they will honor the money back guarantee even without the original packaging. A week later finally got an email form Oral B saying they cannot honor the refund or even replace the defective item.Below is Oral B's terrible response where they admit they are well aware of rust developing on these toothbrushes but instead of replacing a defective item that poses health risks to children, they pass the blame onto customers:--------Rust can develop when water is left on the metal shaft. The shaft is made of stainless steel, but not oxidized stainless steel so rust can occur if proper care instructions aren't met. The rust that is developing on your brush is not harmful. The rust can be easily cleaned by using a sponge with water or a stainless steel cleaner.To prevent this, we recommend drying the brush head and handle each time you use it. Also take off the brush head to clean the handle and metal shaft. Once rust has developed, we recommend removing the brush head after each use so the rust does not reoccur.--------I am still working on getting them to replace or refund, have not given up yet. However, this has been a waste of time and money and I do not trust Oral B products any more. If you buy an Oral B electric toothbrush, MAKE SURE TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING in case your brush is defective or else Oral B will not honor their so-called money back guarantee.

Surprise surprise this works for adults as well. in fact when I bought this I didn't realize it was for kids in fact I don't remember seeing that on the label but that's nice that you're there. It's all a marketing employee. This works very well for adults. My dentist knows I have tooth issues (lack of flossing) and has not complained about the toothbrush. Trust me if this was really for "kids", my dentist would've questioned the type of toothbrush I've been using. It last for several years. For me 5 years before I replaced it. It was still in relatively good condition when throwing it out. So this is a KEEPER.

This is a nice toothbrush with a spinninghead. Not only do i think the spinning head cleans better than vibration, but my kids say the vibrating toothbrushes tickle their hands and never turn them on,
so this is a won-win. I took off 1 star because it's not compatible with the Disney Magic Timer app which is clearly advertised with the toothbrush. Technically, the app will still work, but it won't track the toothbrush like it does with the character toothbrushes. I found that to be annoying considering this is their more expensive kids toothbrush. I like it and would recommend it, but if you're buying it for the app, I'd get a character toothbrush that has the thing for the app to scan.
