I exhaust researching when I want to buy a product, and with this one, I found exactly what I wanted! I vacilated over the very popular and now common cleaners that have a rotary brush, that advertise vacuuming and mopping together. In years past, I had a cordless little vaccuum for vacuuming up quick messes, but would never want to put liquid in it. These new units advertise it all, even self-cleaning of the brush in a stand after use. I have not tried any of those. I almost bought one of those, but thougth they were very big and pretty expensive. and wanted something convenient - not combersome. I wanted something that was easy to quickly go over my floor after cooking, or a spill of some sort. I needed to buy a mop for my new luxury vinyl floor as well, and those bigger units say they do it all. But, I wouldn't need these big units because I don't have young children and animals that would make very messy messes. I really hesitated with this Shark worrying it was just too small, too light weight to be of a big value. I am SO HAPPY I decided to go ahead and try it!! The suction is unbelievably strong! Don't know how it can do it! Moves over the floor so easily and does a great job! Then the mopping feature is perfect as well! I has it's separate lever to widely spray out the liquid with the vacuum off, then going over the wet area, the disposable pad on the bottom has just the right texture to really scrub over the floor. I personally don't like the pre-mixed cleaning solution that comes with the Swiffers - seems sticky to me. This Shark unit has solution you can use and buy to pour into the small containing area on the unit, but I pour just plain water in it, so that I feel free to wet my floor how ever I want, without feeling there has to be some rinsing of it. Or a special way of applying it. I can add cleaner whenever I want, and don't have to continually buy a bottle of cleaner that attaches, when I want to do some mopping or wet clean-up. This Shark unit has never run out of battery for me. I hang it on a hook in my pantry, and plug it in occasionally if I have used it a lot. The pad on the bottom! - I end up loving it!!! Again, Shark is genious to make it to hold the dry litter from the floor in it, and you have the choice of leaving it until full, or it also opens up and you can dispose of it, emptying it and replacing without buying a new one yet. Then it is a throw-away when you decide it has been used too much. It even has a small scratcher strip along it, if you need to scrub a little on the floor. I also purchased 2 reusable cloth pads made for it,that fit perfectly that I can launder if I don't want to keep buying the disposable ones. This is EASY, does a great job, has big suction, mops the floor, is cordless, ergonomic, light weight. But mostly does a great great job. I may buy one of the machines with a spinning brush on it for when I want to really scrub the floor in the grooves of the floor- like Spring or Fall extra cleaning. But I am definitly keeping my floor very clean on a daily basis, so it always looks so clean! Thank you Shark!! I love your products! It is perfect!! High Quality!!!

It's a Shark!..... but with flaws
Pros: -It's a Shark! I've only ever bought Shark products because I love their staying power. I have an old 10+year old Shark vacuum that is still going with great suction after all these years. This little machine also has GREAT suction like a mini tornado - It's very lightweight and easy to push - It's cordless Cons: - The debris reservoir is attached to the pad and is VERY small. The pictures in the ad make it seem you could suck up a cup of cereal and then some - not true (see my pic where I remove the pad to show the size of the holding tank which is 2 small sections to the left and right, not 1 long one). Because of how small the holding tank is, this machine is great for SMALL apartments or use in small areas of a house, but no way you're going to clean floors of the whole place with 1 pad. It's also ideal for a place without pets. I have 2 short hair cats so it's fine, but this machine would be no match for a home with med to long hair animals. - Reservoir tank is plastic, pad is cloth. I got to thinking of the extra plastic waste this now causes throwing a pad away 3x a week. Ouch. With how small the tank is, is it really worth it? - Cost: It's currently 40% off but still almost $60. Is it worth that price? I don't think so. At $40 yes. $60? No. Not unless they doubled that debris holding area and gave you more pads. - Cleaning solution: Machine comes with a micro bottle. It also DOES streak and leaves a film on the floor (see my pic). I'd probably just use it with vinegar and water like usual and skip the cleaning solution. I'm personally not a huge fan of the smell - reminds me of an old lady's house with decorative shell soaps (Sorry if you're elderly and reading this 😵💫). - Battery life: I've used it 3x for 10 mins or less each time and battery light is now blinking. That's a clear indication that battery life is not very long. Overall: Good suction as Shark products go. It's good for occassional use in small areas, not to replace a vacuum or more heavy duty mopping. Battery life needs to improve as does lowering price point or giving pads to make it worth it. I tettered on the fence between sending it back due to the cons and the fact my manual sweeper has pads I can wash (ie no wastefulness) but I will keep it as it sucks up those dusty bunnies well and I'm too lazy to lug out the corded vacuum all the time.

This was my 2nd purchase of this product. Very happy with the operation and strong vacume feature. The sprayer works much like a other units with a spray and mop feature. However, this unit must have been damaged and tye cleaning solution leaked out from the bottom quickly. (Assuming the tank or hose is cracked or defective.
I contacted Shark CS through the provided info on Amazon.
The agent politely and effeciciantly reviewed the problem and they are sending a replacement unit in 7/10 days. No cost to me. I'm very happy with this product and how well it works. Very light and easy to handle. Tossing the replaceable used pads is just a push if a button. Don't have to touch the dirty pads at all.
Perfect for a quick clean up on all hand floors. And the vacume container holds a surprisingly good amount of dirt.
I have 2 heavy shedding Aussies and this make my daily sweeps and spot cleaning super easy. And charges quickly.
Great for hard surface stairways as well. Good product for the money. And Customer service was great.
