So this is a quality rice cooker from one of the top rice cooker brands. I did a lot of research on what rice cooker to buy and I'd say this is the best rice cooker for the price. I love that it's basic; no extra screens, settings, etc to fuss with or to break. It's super easy to use and then clean afterwards. One thing I also looked into before buying this is the feasibility to order replacement parts if and when something wears out say the cooker's pot. Not a problem, Tiger has a parts store online that you can order replacement parts as needed.

The only thing I was surprised was that this cooker was made in China. I thought it would have been made in Japan. Nonetheless, it seems to till be the Tiger quality even with the outsourcing.

The ONLY thing I don't like about it is that there's no sound that lets you know that it's done cooking, so you just have to keep checking it.

We have been using this rice cooker for over a year now, with at least 4-5 uses per week. It is fast, easy to clean, and always gives the fluffiest rice. The warm function is great, especially if you make rice earlier in the day and still want fresh rice for dinner. Cleaning afterward is quick and easy, and the machine is compact enough to hide in a cabinet on a shelf. Make sure you wipe out the silicone seal & remove the gasket that controls the steam on the lid when you deep clean it, and I also recommend deep cleaning every 2-3 uses to keep it working optimally and looking perfect. This rice cooker will take care of you if you take care of it, and we are very happy having gone with this more basic model vs something with way too many functions and not enough performance.

We bought primarily to make rice for our dogs homemade dog food but I was secretly hoping we would make more rice dishes for ourselves and we have! It takes about 30-40 minutes to make a full (5.5 cps) of white rice. Takes quit a bit longer (90 minutes?) for a full (3.5 cps) brown rice.

When making the dogs’ rice we use about half water half unsalted chicken stock. This results in the rice at the very bottom being slightly brown. When we use it for ourselves, we only use water and the rice, even at the bottom, is perfect.

I love this rice maker. Just wish i had bought one sooner

Had to replace my gf's (Japanese) Hitachi with this similar looking one. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase.

One thing I do prefer from the Hitachi was that it had measuring options for White Rice, Jasmin, Brown, and Porridge. This one just has Plain and Brown... which raises the question of what type is Basmati, what is Okome, etc.

Word of caution, it uses a type A plug, not the British type G, but I was already aware of it.

PEro para mi en este particular este modelo me encanta, es de excelente tamaño y hasta el momento trabaja muy bien.
