Works well and looks nice. Mine arrived slightly off level but it can be corrected pretty easily. Place the stand on a flat, level surface, then press down on the surface's corners until level.Also, the surface stop isn't perfectly flat. I placed a level across mine and could slide coins under it without any resistance. This may be an issue if your monitor has a small base, but it turned out to not be an issue in my case.Minor imperfections aside, this monitor stand is still a very good deal. It brings my monitor up to eye level and gives me a place to store my keyboard when it's not in use.

Nice stands, just not consistent in height. I bought two and one was about 3/16" or 1/4" higher than the other. Since the idea was to have two identical monitors line up perfectly, that's a little disappointing. I tried to lean on the taller stand and bend it downward and was able to reduce the difference to about 1/8 but wasn't really comfortable trying to bend it further because I was afraid I might break the welds flexing it. I do like these though - they are just the right height to sit my laptop on the desk-middle, put two monitors above it and run all 3. Nice set up now.
Price is not bad at $18, would be nice to see a multipack discount.

The AmazonBasics Metal Monitor Stand works well on my desk. Even though I don't use it as a monitor stand, I've used it as a stand for putting my various electronic equipment on top. I have two of these stands ordered and stacked ontop of each other. On the very bottom is my PS3, on the middle (top of the first stand) is my PS4 and the very top (the top of the second stand) is my Lenovo Thinkpad docking station. This stand gave me much more room on my desk which would otherwise have been cluttered. I also love the sleek look to the monitor stand and don't feel like it will fall at all. I would purchase it again and believe it would work well as a monitor stand as well (for my purchases I just wanted a nice metal stand and this fit the description).

Bought this along with an  AmazonBasics Laptop Stand - Silver  to make a nice desktop workstation for my Apple Retina MacBook. This stand is pleasantly sturdy, and is decently well-made (finish is applied evenly, no burrs or poorly finished edges on the metal). I'm using this to support an  Acer K272HUL 27-inch Display , which has no built-in height adjustments. This monitor is fairly light for a 27" display, but the AmazonBasics stand has no trouble supporting it - the monitor doesn't shake when I type. Only real complaint is that the silver finish on this stand is darker than the finish on the laptop stand, so it doesn't match. The finish on the monitor stand also has a metallic flake appearance, where the laptop stand does not.

This was the perfect answer to my desk dilemma! I have a new desk and I just could not get comfortable. I have a 27" monitor but it felt like I was hunching to get the best view. I also needed more "working" space on the desk itself. This stand raised the screen up perfectly so I could sit straighter and feel more comfortable. I am also able to slide pen holders, paper weights, and post it's underneath the stand which provides more surface on the desk that was lost before. I was a little concerned about the weight of my monitor despite the fact that it meets the weight requirements. When I placed it on the stand it was readily apparent that this stand is sturdy and well made.
