UPDATE: Received a replacement in 24 hours, without having to return the broken set first. All four bowls perfectly intact. Broken set sitting on my porch for UPS to pick up, free of charge. So, return process was as hassle-free as possible. High marks for customer service.I've updated my rating from one to four stars. These are not exactly high-quality crock ware. They are pretty thin, feel a bit fragile and have a few blemishes in the glaze. But they were relatively inexpensive and fit my immediate needs. I'm guessing they will chip very easily. If I want better, I'll have to go to Williams Sonoma and pay a much higher price. Keeping my fingers crossed, because I just ordered another set in the eggplant color. The price of the white set was $32.95, while the price of the eggplant was $26.95.ORIGINAL POST:Occasionally I will order an item even though there have been a number of complaints of the product being received damaged. The fourth was chipped and cracked all the way through. Obviously not the appropriate packaging for this crock ware to survive shipping.I am supposed to receive a replacement tomorrow; I'll update when I receive it. I liked the bowls enough to give it another shot. The size was perfect for my need; the volume capacity was identical to the bowls I'm trying to replace. We'll see what happens.
