LA Food Bowl is a month-long festival celebrating L.A.'s dynamic food scene. Experiences with top chefs and mixologists within top restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, markets, and pop-ups. Sichuan Summit: “Sweeping from Chengdu to Los Angeles: The Secrets of Pepper and Spice” will be one of the main events of FOOD BOWL.
Sichuan Summit will mainly feature a panel discussion moderated by Jonathan Gold on the topics around Sichuan-style cuisine. Chef demonstration will be presented during the panel discussion. Related video materials (such as short documentary clips) will be projected as well. Some Sichuan restaurants who invited by Chihuo will provide small-scale tasting events at the lobby of the theatre before the summit (after check-in).
