Accountant

This is an entry level role. The ability to speak and write in fluent Mandarin as well as English is required. Under general direction, the successful candidate will maintain SAP system and inventory controls to ensure efficient and accurate reporting.

Main responsibilities:

1. Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.

2. Communicate with clients and customers to request and arrange payments.

3. Assist with month-end account reconciliations.

4. Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.

5. Assist in month-end reporting.

6. Update and maintain costs of inventory

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Some accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of GAAP.
Knowledge of and experience with SAP system.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other standard office equipment such as computer, printer, telephone.
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with various employees within various departments.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to speak, read, write in English.
Ability to demonstrate strong multi-tasking, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to self-start, work effectively both independently and as part of a team, paying attention to detail and completing tasks under pressure.
